The Intersection of Online + Offline

Recently I read an article about Moleskine‘s attempts to stay current by establishing a digital partnership with Evernote. Evernote is a website/app that lets you save documents, projects, webpages and notes in a way that makes them accessible to you on multiple devices. In Evernote’s new partnership with Moleskine, users can take handwritten notes in their Moleskine “Evernote Business Notebook” and upload them digitally to Evernote using the app on their mobile device.

What’s the difference between this and using a scanner, or even a scanning app? Well, these notes are searchable! You can also write a checkmark on your physical notebook next to a picture of a clock, and it’ll set an alert reminder for you. You can also divide up which sections of your notes are shareable with your team, and which are private.

You know what? Maybe just check it out for yourself.

Speaking of the intersection of online + offline, I decided to come up with a roundup of some awesome/silly/fun products that play off of our love for social media. Fair warning: they’re much less useful than the Evernote Business Notebook (but equally as fun!)

1. Twitterplate Necklace, BaubleBar – $135

2. QR Code Cufflinks, Etsy- $68

3. “This is My Selfie Shirt” Shirt, Etsy – $20

And my personal favorite…

4. Social Media Flip Flops, Etsy – $18.99

POPSUGAR Must Have Box: Review

SORRY FOR THE BLOGGING HIATUS!! Moving on…

Starting last month in June, I decided to enroll in a subscription box company via POPSUGAR, called POPSUGAR Must Have. Basically, you pay $35 each month and receive a lifestyle box of products curated by the POPSUGAR editors.

In June’s box I received some great products, my favorite of which was a beautiful Gorjana + Griffin summer scarf (the pink/orange is more neon in person):

Note: I purchased this box; it was not gifted.

Summer Style

Memorial Day Weekend has passed, and we are officially in summer mode! In New York it tends to get pretty hot (today was 87 degrees, in May) and the best way to deal with the weather is by dressing accordingly!

Below are a couple of my favorite summer trends to deal with the heat in style:

Maxi Dress #summerstyle

Maxi Dress #summerstyleDress: Max Studio, Necklace: BaubleBar, Purse: Olivia + Joy, Jacket: vintage

The maxi dress trend is going 2 years strong right now, and I have no intention of giving it up. They’re breezy, instantly glamorous, and super comfy. What I love most about them is the ability to dress it up or down. This picture was taken on my Memorial Day vacation to Bethany Beach, DE.

I have too many positive things to say about a white on white outfit! First of all, it amplifies my non-existant tan – so that’s always a plus. White on white is instantly classy, and adding a colorful statement necklace makes the outfit trendy and fun too!

What are your favorite summer trends?

Vine: Instagram for Videos

Have you heard of the new app, Vine? It’s been popularly referred to as “instagram for videos” — and it’s the new hot app, especially in the fashion world. It was acquired by Twitter and was released in late January, and my favorite thing about it is getting a real-time, 6-second glimpse into the world of your favorite brands, celebrities, and icons (and friends!)

One of my absolute favorite brands, BaubleBar, has just launched a Vine contest in honor of their new stylist guide – and you could be the winner of a $100 gift card! (Yes, to BaubleBar. Yes, #dreamcometrue.)

Check out the rules below, and if you need some inspiration, here’s my submission!

Have you started using Vine yet? Follow me @staceyalevine, and tweet at me with your username so I can follow you too!

Cabernet + Sequins

Last night was my friend from high school’s 21st birthday, and since we’re all home for Thanksgiving, we got together for a Thanksgiving leftovers party and then headed out to a bar. As the only 20-year-old in the group, I got to be the designated driver. Which was cool. Really.

For the evening, I decided to rock some of my new favorite trends of the moment, which also happened to be some of my best Black Friday purchases.

Necklace: BaubleBar, Cardigan: BCBG MAXAZRIA, Corduroy Pants: Black Hearts, Boots: Steve Madden

For the makeup, I went with a little cream-colored shimmer on the eyes and liquid black liner, and a deep red lip.

Lately I’ve been very excited about two trends: sequins, and cabernet-colored anything. I’ve been looking around for the perfect pieces, and I think I’ve found them, though I’m always on the hunt for more.

What trends are you loving this fall?
