Today was the first day of my internship at the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Fashion Incubator program, and it was awesome! But I’m not here to talk about the job – I’m here to talk about the clothes.
Last night was “break in my new heels” night, so I could wear them in comfort on my first day. For that outfit I threw together some baggy jean shorts and a cream eyelet lace top, my Michael Kors bag, and of course, my new Sam Edelman sandals (which are SO comfy by the way!)
Back to today: For my first day on the job, I decided to keep the sandals and bag. It was a disgustingly rainy day today, so I couldn’t wear the maxi skirt I planned on. Instead, my outfit consisted of black skinny jeans, a bright tangerine top, and my vintage Valentino blazer. As for jewelry, I chose my BaubleBar Azure Triad Collar Necklace, and 2 bracelets from my BaubleBar April Classified Collection.
Those shoes are beautiful! & i definitely find that when I’m dressing to impress I tend to start with the heels & work my way up!
Thanks! And I’d say that’s a great way to go 🙂
I’m really really loving those shoes. Keep us updated on your internship at the CFDA incubator!!
